For Prospective Camper Families
We invite you to visit camp in session during a Community Shabbat! See first-hand what makes our camp so magical and our Shabbat services so unique. You’ll enjoy a camp tour, t’fillah service, delicious Shabbat meal, Shabbat dance party – and see camp in action! (This event is for families who do not have a camper in session during their visit.)
For Current Camper Families
I’m sorry, but we do not allow parents to visit campers during their session as we’ve seen from years of experience that it can cause homesickness – not just with your camper but among others in their unit. Exceptions are for special visitor events (see below) for Hagigah, Hevrah, Avodah and CIT families.
For Synagogue Visitors
We invite synagogues and their communities to visit us on specific dates during the summer. If your synagogue is invited on a date when your child is in session at camp, we ask that you refrain from attending and visit on another date as to not disrupt your child’s experience or that of other children in their session.

Summer Visitor Dates
Read This Before Your Visit!
At Cal Maritime, we need to pay for each visitor’s meal, parking, and related staffing. This is why we do not accept same-day registrations, or walk-ins, and why we must close registration 72 hours before each event. Please do not show up unannounced! All visitors must pre-register for Shabbat & special events – no exceptions. Thank you for being respectful of our camp community, our staff and our rules.
